A Low End Bedstead with a head panel but no foot panel. Otherwise known as a Cottage Style Bed, this has the advantage of the bedstead frame in that it supports the bed base and mattress and provides underbed storage, whilst the lack of foot board is ideal in keeping an open aspect, especially effective in small rooms.

This bed has been adapted from an original bedstead, circa 1890.

The bed shown here accepts a 5ft wide (King Size) mattress and bed base set.
